Whether the client is a small manufacturer or a large, highly automated distribution center, the building must be designed to respond to the unique needs of the business. The clients’ processes, machinery, equipment, racking, and IT infrastructure are important program requirements that must be integrated into the design in order to make the facility a success.
The building should enhance the productivity of the business.
ATA Beilharz Architects’ vision is backed by nearly thirty years of experience creating spaces that allow people to do their job better.

Featured Project: SanMar distribution facility
Location: West Chester, Ohio
Client: SanMar
Project Highlights:Built to replace an existing and outdated building, SanMar’s new 970,000 s.f. Ohio facility includes a 10,000 s.f. showroom and office complex, two 100,000 s.f. mezzanines for product hand sorting, and over 500,000 s.f. of high-bay racked product storage. Featured Project: Home Depot Distribution Center
Location: Monroe, Ohio
Client: ProLogis / Home Depot
Project Highlights: This new regional distribution center for Home Depot contains nearly 660,000 total square feet - that's over 15 acres under one roof (and enough to cover 9 football fields)! ATA Beilharz Architects design the new facility to incorporate sustainable building practices into the finished structure. By using both energy efficient and recycled materials (over 700 tons of the latter) and resposible design, the building's impact on the environment is diminished both during construction and over the operational life of the building. The current goal is to receive LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
