Clermont College, Student Services

Featured Project:Cincinnati Ballet Addition
Location: Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio
Client: Cincinnati Ballet

Project Highlights:When the Cincinnati Ballet decided to combine their business office and rehearsal studios into one new facility, they engaged ATA-Beilharz Architects to help develop their building program and a strategy for implementation. Due to limited initial funds, the ATA-Beilharz master plan called for two phases of development. Phase one consisted of a two-story, 17,000 square foot building that included the Ballet’s administrative spaces, three rehearsal studios, dressing rooms, classrooms, scenery and wardrobe spaces, and dancer lounges.

Phase two fulfilled the master plan and included the design of a 10,000 square foot expansion. The new addition includes new reception space, public facilities, and a 250-seat public performance studio. The contemporary design features a curved translucent façade, which is illuminated at night by a computer controlled light show.
